I specialize in a very unique area of the island of Oahu.  Nuuanu Valley is one of the most desirable neighborhoods in Honolulu. During the 19th century it was the most desirable home site for Hawaiian Royalty and merchants.  Today it is an area where both the kama'aina and malihini or newcomer, seek to locate because of its central location and close proximity to the city, business and financial center of the island.

Thirty-three years ago in 1971, I was assigned to work in the Nuuanu area as a police officer.  I chose to purchase my home in Nuuanu two years later.

Nuuanu can best be described as a comfortable and safe community with beautiful homes in a lush green residential area.  Nice parks, great public and private schools, community libraries, convenient shopping areas, many unique restaurants, churches of all faiths, nearby theaters, cultural and entertainment centers.

Today we are fortunate to have a 24-hour shopping mall with a Longs Drug Store and Safeway Store.  Other 24-hour services include restaurants, an award winning bakery and three of Honolulu's major medical centers. 

The Oahu Country Club is also located in Nuuanu Valley and is one of Honolulu's oldest private golf clubs.

Honolulu's financial center, seats of both city and state government, and Iolani Palace, the only Royal Palace in the United States and  home of the last Hawaiian Monarchy is located just minutes away in the center of downtown Honolulu.

Honolulu's Royal Hawaiian Band continues to conduct public concerts on the grounds of Iolani Palace during the noon hour on Fridays.

Nuuanu is centrally located on the island of Oahu; it is just a few minutes to the downtown shopping, business and financial area.

The H-1 freeway is easilly accessible to travel towards communities in both the east and west.  The Pali Highway will take you through scenic Nuuanu Valley to the communities of Kailua and Kaneohe on the windward side of the island and to communities on the North Shore where the colorful and quaint community of Haleiwa is located with adjacent world famous surf beaches, Sunset Beach, the Banzai Pipeline and Waimea Bay.
